ABOUT

In 2012, Dr Goncu completed her doctorate in the Department of Ceramic Engineering at Anadolu University. Dr. Goncu is part of the team that conducted the first pilot-scale production of Hexagonal Boron Nitride in Turkey. Among their areas of expertise are the production and characterization of Boron Nitride Nanoparticles (hBN NPs), Nanosheets (BNNSs), and Nanotubes (BNNTs), the coating and characterization of implant materials (Ti, Ti Alloys, Steel) using the electrophoretic deposition method (EPD), and injectable hydrogels. In 2012, Dr. Goncu received the Technology Mansion Award from PAGEV, the Turkish Plastics Industry Research and Development and Education Foundation, as part of a team. Dr. Goncu is one of the inventors of 7 national and 2 international patents.
